Ceramic baguettes are already available in numerous shapes and designs. For the first time, GIMA has succeeded in making baguettes with coal-fired salt kilns, bestowing the clinker baguettes a unique colour.
The technical requirements for the baguette system were undertaken by the subsidiary MOEDING Keramikfassaden. The baguettes are "strung" on an aluminium tube and then mounted on the façade, suspended and back-ventilated.
The result is a special mix of classic clinker material and novel façade construction. Special colours as well as shapes are always possible here. Please contact us for individual requests.
Of great importance in this new façade system is the secure and easy-to-install fastening of the shading elements. Despite numerous design options, standardised fastening solutions can be used in most cases. This consists of aluminium motherboards and aluminium baguette holders. Alternatively, GIMA develops object-specific fastening solutions in close cooperation with the planner and the executing company.
