Our products for structural work are manufactured entirely at our Marklkofen site. The bricks are made from 100% natural clay, which is ecologically extracted from our own clay pits on land that is subsequently renaturalized.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

GIMA bricks are continuously monitored for quality in accordance with DIN EN 771-1 and DIN 105-100 through in-house quality control. In addition, they undergo testing according to the European Construction Products Regulation by the G\u00fcteschutz Ziegel S\u00fcd e. V. (notified body 0803). \n Exterior walls made from the natural building material brick stand for healthy and sustainable construction. GIMA’s state-of-the-art perforated masonry bricks impress with their combination of energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and living comfort.<\/strong><\/p>\n

TV bricks<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n The TV+ series reliably meets the highest requirements for thermal insulation (Efficiency House 40), sound insulation according to DIN 4109-5:2020-08 (increased requirements), structural integrity for building classes 1 to 5, fire protection, and fastening technology. Thanks to their high dimensional accuracy, GIMA TV bricks can be installed particularly quickly and economically \u2013 with reduced mortar consumption and optimized construction costs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The natural mineral insulation integrated into the brick regulates heat and humidity in an energy-efficient manner. At the same time, it contributes to reducing outside noise and creates a pleasant, quiet living environment. Both the brick and the filling are non-combustible (building material class A1) and thus guarantee a high level of safety. <\/div>\n

Clay blocks<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n At GIMA, we combine traditional brickmaking with sustainable, innovative techniques. Our new clay bricks, manufactured without a firing process, offer significant energy savings. By using locally sourced clay, we ensure short transport routes and avoid imports and unnecessary journeys.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the beginning of 2025, a major milestone was reached: The German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) granted us general type approval for load-bearing clay brick masonry using the thin-bed method. At the same time, the GIMA clay hollow brick received general building authority approval according to DIN 18945, number Z-17.6-1306. This means the clay brick can be used without restriction for all buildings up to building class 5 and can be processed just as efficiently as conventional blocks. <\/div>\n

brick ceilings & precast concrete ceilings<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Brick ceilings look back on over a hundred years of construction history \u2013 and thanks to modern manufacturing, they are more versatile than ever. Precise prefabrication, based on individual installation plans, produces perfectly fitting ceiling elements that easily accommodate even demanding floor plans with balconies, bay windows, or special shapes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether in residential or commercial construction, two systems have become established: the suspended brick ceiling for renovations and the precast brick ceiling for new builds. The latter is delivered custom-made from the factory, including all recesses and connections, as well as optional installation preparation. It is dry, quick to install, immediately walkable, and can also be used as a solid roof. The suspended ceiling is advantageous in existing buildings due to its low weight and ease of on-site handling. <\/div>\n
