SUN PROTECTION ELEMENTS
Frequently baguette façade elements are used as sun protection elements. Since the baguettes' material and feel match the clinker façade, they blend harmoniously into the façade pattern.
DESIGNING CLOSED FAÇADE AREAS
Due to their technical characteristics, the creative possibilities and the tactile experience, the baguettes are suitable for harmonisation against closed surfaces. This results in special effects that loosen up or structure the façade pattern. Among other things, exhaust air openings, air conditioning units or other technical installations can be concealed so easily and elegantly and integrate into the entire façade concept.
IN COMBINATION WITH CLASSIC CLINKER FACADES
A special feature is the combination of baguettes with full-surface clinker façade. The surface structure and colour of the baguette is continued. Thus, a homogeneity of the facade is reinforced.
TARGETED DAYLIGHT CONTROL
As energy costs increase, regulated daylight control is becoming more and more important. The desired effect of shading, which produces considerable energy savings in cooling the building, is counteracted by the darkening effect. Through the innovative use of ceramic shading elements, the darkening effect can be minimised. On the one hand, the baguettes can be movably mounted and the darkening controlled in a targeted manner. Alternatively, one can adjust the cross section of the shading elements to the natural occurrences in such a way that a light-control effect is also given.
