Natural colors and unique shapes define GIMA’s product range. Once again this year, we will be showcasing the full spectrum of ceramic flooring solutions at GaLaBau. A key focus is on permeable paving solutions and new formats. With our new grass pavers, we are significantly expanding the design possibilities for permeable surfaces. Different hole geometries—ranging from clean, graphic structures to a pebble-like terrazzo look—enable varied surface patterns that blend grid-like precision with natural aesthetics. The range is complemented by recycling bricks in a bar format, which combine modern laying patterns such as herringbone with sustainable material concepts.

Whether smooth or grooved, CERPIANO+ ceramic slabs are available in four earthy shades.
GIMA’s ceramic slabs are the ideal flooring for balconies and patios: they are durable, long-lasting, and easy to clean. With CERPIANO+, the first ceramic terrace system, GIMA offers tailor-made solutions for every design need: Available in four earthy shades and two surface finishes, the slim rectangular formats allow you to create modern, elegant, and value-retaining terraces with a spacious feel.
The decking system can be easily installed on almost any surface, including gravel, stone, concrete, sand, and crushed stone. To do this, the 60 x 40 x 3 mm aluminum rails are placed on a point foundation or an existing concrete slab. Joint details and bevels can be easily created using standard tools—for durable decks that combine style and comfort.
Whether in a private garden or on a rooftop terrace, in the prestigious outdoor areas of hotels and commercial buildings, or in public spaces—on terraces, around pools, and in walkway designs—CERPIANO+ ceramic slabs combine the benefits of a durable, low-maintenance flooring with the aesthetic appeal and timeless elegance of a natural material.

One of the focal points of this year’s GaLaBau is the design potential of perforated pavers. Different perforation patterns allow for a wide range of surface effects—from clean, geometric structures to organically open-textured pavements. This enables paved areas to be integrated into their surroundings in a way that is both functional and distinctive.
In addition to their aesthetic appeal, GIMA grass pavers meet high functional standards: Their uniform installation depth of 100 mm ensures the necessary stability even in areas subject to vehicle traffic and heavy loads, including heavy-duty traffic. The open structure allows for direct infiltration of rainwater and helps reduce impervious surfaces. Installation aids support efficient installation. All variants are also available in the GIMA color palette as well as in project-specific custom colors.
In addition, we showcase a wide range of solutions for custom floor design: new tile formats for striking herringbone patterns, small-stone pavers with a variety of patterns, and a delicate travertine look open up a wealth of design possibilities.
We offer paving slabs specifically designed for sidewalks. Available in three color options and with either a “diagonally grooved” or “studded” finish, they stand out for their premium feel and unique appearance.

Recycled paving bricks

We contribute to circular construction with our recycled brick, which can be made from broken bricks, surplus bricks, or bricks that have been dismantled and sorted by type. In addition, we also process secondary raw materials.
Currently, GIMA bricks for facades and flooring can be manufactured with up to 40 percent recycled content, and the research team is constantly working to further increase the proportion of secondary raw materials.
A prime example of the use of external secondary raw materials is GIMA’s collaboration with HOFMANN NATURSTEIN, which led to the development of a clinker variant incorporating sawdust in six colors. The GIMA laboratory team developed a special formulation for effectively blending this sawdust into the traditional raw material mix. Extensive testing was conducted to assess how this new secondary raw material affects clinker production in terms of shape, color, durability, and longevity. Markus Hage, head of the GIMA laboratory, emphasizes: “Both our own and external secondary raw materials increase our resource efficiency; they serve as the basis for recycled bricks. In doing so, we always uphold our commitment to products with original clinker quality.”

The product line features side guides for quick and cost-effective installation. All paving bricks in the range have small laying aids on three sides, allowing them to be laid directly against one another and ensuring a consistent joint pattern every time.
New to the lineup in 2026: the slim plank format measuring 290 x 71 x 71 mm. The strengths of this elongated format are particularly evident when laid in an elegant herringbone pattern. This allows you to create exclusive outdoor spaces with a unique character—just like all formats, available in 10 exciting colors!
