Those are equipped with small ceramic protrusions on their sides to ensure that a uniform joint width is maintained. This greatly simplifies the task of laying paving uniformly and the task can be completed without the need for large tools, and a great deal of time can be saved. Depending on the format, building-specific products with laying aids can be manufactured.
With every format from our stock range of pavers, when laid correctly, the paved area is able to percolate. To assure long-lasting percolation properties, the joints need to be filled with water-permeable mineral material mixtures such as gravel or granite chips. The joint width obtained through the use of laying aids enables the standard relating to percolation capability to be satisfied.

Patio tiles are paving bricks in accordance with DIN EN 1344, but with additional requirements to the previous DIN 18503.
